IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THESE WOUNDS ON BEAUTY ARE INDEED BURNS .BEAUTY IS ESTIMATED TO BE 8 TO 10 WEEKS OLD AND WEIGHS 6.5 POUNDS . EYE SPECIALIST , DR. ERICA TOLAR, WILL EXAMINE HER EYES . THE DERMATOLOGY SPECIALISTS WILL EVALUATE HER ON MONDAY . THE VETS ARE MAKING SURE THAT SHE IS OUT OF PAIN AND SHE IS BEING MONITORED 24 HOURS A DAY . SHE TESTED NEGATIVE FOR PARVO ! FOR NOW SHE IS RESTING .

A severely malnourished pitbull endured months of torture that included having its limbs pulled apart in a medieval-style “drawing,” the vet who performed the dog’s necropsy told the Herald today as authorities plead with the public to help them find the “sadistic” person responsible.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A San Francisco dog that fell critically ill on Wednesday from eating a poisoned meatball is continuing to recover.

The 7-year-old dachshund, named Oskar, is receiving care at a Sunset District animal hospital. He is now listed in stable condition.

Dr. Carrie Journey says Oskar's symptoms are consistent with strychnine, an animal poison.

Patricia Ratz and Pat Guglielmo's pit bull, Baby Girl, died days after being shot in a park in Staten Island. Their lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and will be filed in Brooklyn Federal Court on Monday.

New Jersey - Sammy is the abused Cocker Spaniel that was brought in by his owner in a garbage bag, severely abused, neglected and near death! The owner claimed he found the dog on the roadside! Sweet 13-year-old Sammy's remarkable recovery has captured our hearts.
Sammy's owners have been charged with multiple offenses and have hired an attorney and are pending hearings in both Ocean and Monmouth counties.
