A BRIEF GABE UPDATE;
I have stayed busy today after an escapade into the woods last night... ;) (all safe!) so I apologize for the late post and the brevity.
Gabe continues to eat well and is becoming far more trusting. He no longer cries and whines as soon as he is touched so some of the injuries are healing.
He also came to Kasey (caregiver) today so she could "pet" him a bit. He is enjoying receiving the kind of attention and love he deserves and needs.
We know in the not too distant future, Gabe will be at the vet's for a bit. But this time he has to just enjoy being loved and treated with kindness is very important. The vet is nearby if needed and he is receiving his meds. We are thankful they are working to alleviate his pain.
We can only hope the incontinence is not a permanent issue, but if it is, we will deal with it. Gabe deserves to know love and we will make sure he does. Thank All of you in case I have not said it. Without you, we could not do the work we do. We are honored to be able to know these precious fur kids and be able to help them. And we are blessed to have a group of wonderful friends that care. The animals are our heroes. YOU are our angels.
