A Good Day For Justice

Suspects accused of burning 'Justice' the puppy face trial together.

By: N Gilbert

Four young man accused of setting a puppy on fire will face trial together, a Dallas County judge ruled Wednesday.

The four men are: Darius Ewing, 19; Richard Valentine, 25; Darius Carey, 25; and Adrian Ayers, 21.

Police and animal investigators say the four doused the pit bull mix with a flammable liquid and set the dog on fire this past April.

The puppy, later named "Justice," died a few days later after its burns became infected.

All four men are charged with cruelty to a non-livestock animal. Because Justice was set on fire, the charges are 3rd-degree felonies and each could spend two to 10 years in prison.

Next court date will be March 18, 2013. Will keep you updated!

RIP sweet baby Justice! Always loved and never forgotten!! ♥
