UPDATE AS OF 4/17/2015: PER SHELTER, ROMEO'S SEIZURE YESTERDAY WAS NOT VERY SEVERE, AND HE HAS NOT HAD ANY MORE SINCE. PLEASE KEEP SHARING HIM SO WE CAN HAVE A RESCUE, FOSTER AND PLEDGES LINED UP FOR HIM WHEN HIS HOLD IS UP THIS WEEKEND. ♥

UPDATE AS OF 4/16/2015: LITTLE ROMEO HAD A SEIZURE EARLY THIS MORNING, SO HE IS NOW IN ISOLATION RESTING AND QUIET. SINCE HE CAME AS A STRAY AND WE HAVE NO HISTORY ON HIM, WE DON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL BE A ONE TIME THING OR IF HE HAS EPILEPSY. HE IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE. JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU ALL A HEADS UP.

THE SOONER WE CAN GET ROMEO OUT OF THE SHELTER, THE BETTER. PLEASE KEEP SHARING HIM.

IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THESE WOUNDS ON BEAUTY ARE INDEED BURNS .BEAUTY IS ESTIMATED TO BE 8 TO 10 WEEKS OLD AND WEIGHS 6.5 POUNDS . EYE SPECIALIST , DR. ERICA TOLAR, WILL EXAMINE HER EYES . THE DERMATOLOGY SPECIALISTS WILL EVALUATE HER ON MONDAY . THE VETS ARE MAKING SURE THAT SHE IS OUT OF PAIN AND SHE IS BEING MONITORED 24 HOURS A DAY . SHE TESTED NEGATIVE FOR PARVO ! FOR NOW SHE IS RESTING .

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – Dogs owners in a south Lakeville neighborhood are distraught after several dogs have become severely ill and even hospitalized after eating items intended to harm animals.
