BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The teen who lit a puppy on fire in Buffalo will spent the next two years in prison for felony animal cruelty charges. He also cannot have a pet for seven years.

A woman was arrested for allegedly tying a puppy to her vehicle and dragging the animal, causing severe injuries.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A San Francisco dog that fell critically ill on Wednesday from eating a poisoned meatball is continuing to recover.

The 7-year-old dachshund, named Oskar, is receiving care at a Sunset District animal hospital. He is now listed in stable condition.

Dr. Carrie Journey says Oskar's symptoms are consistent with strychnine, an animal poison.

Frodo's teeth were dislodged and his mouth had to be re-attached.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - It was a horrific sight: A dog, with its mouth duct taped, chained to a fence and left for dead. Now, a $5,000 reward is being offered to find the person responsible.
